Another person Miki squares off against is the neighboring shop girl, Megumi, who can perform everything the straightforward Miki hates: fake smiles, fake tears, and the ability to wait on tables. Infiltrating Miki's ramen shop to learn the secret of its success, Megumi discovers the only reason customers pack in there is to watch the chaos, violent fighting, and Miki learning valuable life lessons from her mother about customers. With this new found information Megumi sets into motion a plan to bring down her restaurant rival for good, but like all the other great fighters is always defeated challenging Miki.
