Middle school students Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki, and Fuu Hououji are on a school field trip to Tokyo Tower, when after hearing the Pillar of Cephiro Princess Emeraude’s cries for the Magic Knights to save her world they’re suddenly transported to a strange world. There the three girls must learn to control the magic they now possess, drive back the monsters plaguing the land, revive the sealed Rune Gods, and finally fight against the High Priest Zagato, who kidnapped Princess Emeraude.
