What does a producer do? Most people think it's about handling production and the funds necessary to complete it, but it's more than that. Ron Diamond has worked tirelessly representing mostly little-known artist animators and seeking out opportunities for them. Many of these directors live outside the U.S. and would not necessarily have been discovered had it not been for their working with Ron, allowing him to introduce them to the advertising market in the U.S. and oversee their productions. This panel presents examples of the personal work of several directors and the commissioned work they created for American and international markets.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the release of Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, celebrated with theater screenings of the trilogy films earlier in the year.
